Who We Are
I am a storyteller. That’s taken me down a couple of different, but related, paths. The first was toward journalism. I love the adrenaline of deadlines and producing good content when the pressure is on. I enjoy listening and hearing yarns from others. It led to a long career in Boston media, both as a full-time reporter and a freelancer.
Working as a PR practitioner and leader for brands like Brightcove, Forrester, and ZoomInfo taught me a few things about myself.
I am happier working with and not working in media. Having been on the other side of the relationship, I value the relationships I have with media, analysts, and other thought leaders. I appreciate my role in working with business leaders to understand how public relations can move the needle for their businesses. I believe that public relations is not about the quantity of coverage - it is about the quality of it. Does it raise awareness of your brand within your ecosystem of customers, partners, and prospects? Does it generate leads? One top-tier media piece often is more effective thanks 10s of them. PR disconnected from the business is noise. The first discussion we will have will be about your business and how PR helps advance business goals. I value diversity in my work. I’ve been fortunate to touch nearly every tech market and industry in my time in PR - and I like that breadth of work. I’m unafraid to explore new areas.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love working with kids and have coached sports for years, across a wide age spectrum.
